July 2024: Patch now closed for the season. Thanks to all that came out, hope to see you next year!

The Blueberry Place is a small 10 acre farm with two acres dedicated to three different varieties of blueberries (about 1150 plants): Tifblue, Climax and Bluebell.
The first variety begins to ripen in late May, and can usually be picked through June. This variety produces large, sweet berries.
The other two varieties begin to ripen in mid June, and can usually be picked from June until mid July. These varieties also produce sweet berries, however, the berries don't seem to be quite as large as the first variety.
If you catch the season just right with the later varieties, most of the berries on the bush are ripe at the same time, and you can pick many pounds of berries in just a few minutes.
Since no pesticides of any kind are used, the berries can be eaten right off the bush (and you can eat all you want while you pick). The berries can almost be classified as organic. The only commercial product that is used on the berries is a fertilizer that is mixed with water and distributed through the irrigation system.
We supply everything you need to pick pounds of blueberries (buckets, bags and harness to hold your bucket, so you can be a two handed picker!). Come on over and enjoy some of our favorite blueberries ever.
We update our website regularly with the status of the berries, so check back often!
